Imagery

Photography and videography are powerful and persuasive tools for communicating our brand. Use these guidelines to tell visually compelling stories, attract attention and highlight the things that make ScaleTime unique.

Use imagery to reflect our personality and reinforce our key messages.

Express our brand’s personality and core values through imagery that conveys ScaleTime’s results, people, culture, and sense of authority without unrealistic filters or effects. Imagery is an excellent way to convey our key messaging themes by showing, not just saying, what makes us distinct.

The Basics

DO:
  • Convey your message quickly by using imagery with a clear focal point and a background that is free of distracting clutter.
  • Choose images that portray relevant in-action scenes.
  • Use images that look natural, interesting and real.
  • Use shots with interesting angles to help drive a sense of movement and energy.
  • Include normal people!

DON’T:
  • Don’t use images/scenes that are obviously posed models and not real life.
  • Avoid poor quality images that have bad lighting or production quality.
  • Stay away from trying to represent ideas with strange unrelated images to represent abstract ideas.

Tribe Vibe

Collaboration is a huge part of the ScaleTime brand experience.

We are all about winning big and winning together. We show this both digitally and in person. Keep all our shots welcoming, friendly, and inviting.

We are inclusive of ALL genders, race, and orientations and try to represent this in out imagery too.

Process

Process is not only a key function of ScaleTime, but a reality that we all constantly work on. We strive to show the nitty gritty of what process looks like.

Process isn’t always pretty. Show it like it is. If it’s messy whiteboards and cluttered desks, then we proudly show it.

Leadership

We champion all forms of leadership whether it be on ted talks, zoom calls, in person or digital meetings, etc.

We enjoy playing around with funky camera angles to create angular lines within the photo composition. In simpler terms: don’t be boring — we’re a dynamic brand, leading the way with a strong, unique offering and our imagery should represent that.

In collaborative shots, keep the camera angle tight with the group. We want the viewer to feel like they are part of the collaborations, instead of watching them from a distance.

Freedom

This is the aspirational and emotional play for the brand. Being able to have more time to do what you love, is the end goal of for our clients.

This can manifest itself in many different ways, but we lean into nature, family, and exploring as that aligns with our demographic. Ideally we can source these shots from actual customers who got their freedom back because of ScaleTime.

Freedom means getting to live your life outside of the office. We LOVE first person photos that show Freedom from the User.
