Formatting Guidelines

Blog Posts:

The goal of the blogs is to give the reader actionable insights and tips they can implement right after reading to improve their business processes.

Always include a target keyword and a meta description.

Blog posts should open with a short, punchy, and bold intro or hook before going into the action points, listed as H2 headers or H3 headers for smaller, subsequent lists or action tips.

Paragraphs should be less than three sentences long. No long sentences and avoid using things like semicolons to lengthen sentences. Single lines are preferred over paragraphs, even short paragraphs.

The blog conclusion should include an H2 header for final action points that encourages the reader to implement them now. This final H2 header should say something like:

Ninja Your Project Management

Mark These Down on Your Calendar

Get Started Today with These Action Points

Exit the Room with a Clear-Cut Action Plan

Do it Now!

Please see this blog on project management for an example on blog formatting and tone.

Facebook Posts

We’re using Facebook to distribute the blog content, demonstrate thought leadership on social media, and drive traffic to the blog and website. Facebook posts should give a playful teaser into what the blog post is about and how it can help the reader improve their business.

And there’s a lot more options out there than spreadsheets that help you manage projects with less crap and more success.
